Agreement to these terms

Welcome to aoiartofimplosion.com, owned and operated by AOI ART OF IMPLOSION LLC (“AOI”, “we”, “the Website”). By accessing and using the Website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Intellectual property

All content on the Website — images, text, graphics, logos, designs, audio and video — is owned by AOI ART OF IMPLOSION LLC or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

User conduct

You agree to use the Website lawfully, and not to: harass, stalk or threaten others; impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation; post unlawful, harmful or objectionable content; infringe intellectual-property or other rights; or interfere with or disrupt the Website.

User content

You are solely responsible for content you submit. By submitting User Content you grant AOI ART OF IMPLOSION LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, distribute and display it worldwide in any media, and to use the name you submit in connection with it.

Third-party links

The Website may link to third-party sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices — please review their terms and privacy policies.

Sessions, bookings and applications

The Website describes AOI sessions, systems and programmes; it does not sell sessions. Sessions are booked directly with each AOI centre, and the centre's own terms, prices, cancellation rules and health screening apply to the booking. Enquiries, partnership requests and applications submitted through the Website are requests, not contracts: we will come back to you, and any agreement is made separately in writing.

AOI sessions and the Reoccupy Your Body training are for adults. Anyone under 18 may take part only with the consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian, where the centre permits it.

Wellness disclaimer

AOI is a light-and-sound wellness environment. It is not a medical device, and an AOI session is not medical care. Nothing on the Website, in a session or in any AOI material is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and AOI is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition.

What people report after sessions is described on the Website as reported experience, and the observational data we publish shows association, not cause. Results are not guaranteed and individual experiences vary; some people notice very little.

Consult a qualified clinician before a session if you are pregnant, have epilepsy or a known sensitivity to flashing or coloured light, a heart condition or implanted device, a psychiatric condition, or any condition you are being treated for, and do not stop, start or change any treatment or medication because of anything you read here or experience in a session. Each centre runs a short health screening before a first session and may decline or end a session on safety grounds.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Website is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor the accuracy, reliability or completeness of its content, which may change without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AOI ART OF IMPLOSION LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or the statutory rights of consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AOI ART OF IMPLOSION LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents from any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms, your User Content, or your unlawful use of the Website.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above tells you when they last changed, and continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or end access to the Website, or any part of it, at any time without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute arising from them or from the Website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California. If you use the Website as a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction whose law grants you protections that cannot be contracted out of, you keep those protections and may also bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.

If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the rest remains in force.
